Extended Learning Opportunities (ELO’s) are designed to teach students in a meaningful, relevant way as well as assist them in building relationships within their community. The goal of ELO’s is to decrease the drop out rate by developing a positive self-image, building relationships, and allowing for experiential learning. ELO’s allow students to gain new skills in a non-traditional way.
