Extended Learning Opportunities (ELO’s) are designed to teach students in a meaningful, relevant way as well as assist them in building relationships within their community. The goal of ELO’s is to decrease the drop out rate by developing a positive self-image, building relationships, and allowing for experiential learning. ELO’s allow students to gain new skills in a non-traditional way.
Project-based students attended a meeting with Senator King to promote their work with Goodwill's AmeriCorp Great Strides Program.
Two students help paint the "Bunny Bus," one of the major components of our Livestock Management program.
The "Bunny Bus" serves as a rabbit hutch. Inside, the benches have been removed, and shelves with cages line the walls.
